Docker Hub had a wake up call, when they discovered on April 25th that there had been unauthorized access to a Hub database, that contained the non-financial data of almost two-hundred-thousand users. While the hacker only had access to the database for a short while, he did expose the data of a lot of users, so the company send out an email stating what had happened, and advised their users to reset their passwords.
It is unknown whether the hacker downloaded or uploaded any data or malware, but all the same, Docker did advise certain users to check their logs.
