A Bitcoin fraudster has claimed that he made 200 BTC from through "typo-squatting", this equates to the ballpark of 760,000 USD. This was all done by "typo-squatting", this is where the fraudster creates a fake domain that users visit and then any money from them is piped to the fraudster.

This very prevalent on the Dark Web, where a large sum of money is made from typo-squatting. This is mostly used to target those who misstype their domain name address. The discovery was made by security researcher Van Riper of Shadow Search_.
