It has been discovered that Checkers and Rally's, a popular Drive-In restaurant across 20 US states has been hit with a massive POS breach [Point of Sales], and it may have stretched over 2 - 3 years. It was reported that hackers [as of yet, unknown] were able to plant malware on their POS systems, this particular malware was designed to steal card information off of the magnetic strips.
The restaurant is working close with security experts and law enforcement to settle the issue, and has advised anyone who has used their card at one of their drive-ins to order a credit report, and check their accounts for any suspicious activity.
