News Google Presents New Plan to Enforce DNS Encryption:

A new plan that is being proposed by Google, that will enforce tougher encryption on your browsing history on Chrome, is being lobbied against it by Comcast.

The plan, that is to be implemented soon, will encrypt your browsing history using a new type of enforcement called DNS-over-HTTPS or [DOH], essentially, it would make it harder for hackers to intercept DNS requests. Mozilla is also preparing to implement a similar plan.

This is in all in a move to arrest the control of people's data away from the ISPs. But there are some issues that some officials are having with the new plan: the fact that Google is trying to centralize DNS data, hence creating a monopoly as the singular DNS provider, this has of course been refuted by officials at Google.

Original article can be found here.

That was the news folks, have a good day, and stay safe out there.
