A large and prominent deep web child exploitation site was taken down, with a large number of arrests, evidence comprised of various videos, photos, including the servers hosting the site, and finally 420 BTC was also confiscated.
The operation was a joint task that involved multiple enforcement agencies from across the world, including the UK, Germany, and South Korea. It was reported that the site admin, as well as 337 suspects from 38 countries were arrested. While the admin, Jong Woo Son is facing an 18 month sentence in Korea, Washington DC just released an indictment that will have Son be extradited to the US to face justice.
