Between December of last year and January, a data breach hit Canada's National Health System [NHS]. It has not been yet been revealed who was responsible for the breach. What was exposed was patient diagnostic results, healthcare numbers, and contact information as well; however, no financial information belonging to any patient was exposed.
This is not the first time that the medical marijuana sector has been hit with a data breach, and likely won't be the last.
