   The operator of Silk Road 2.0 was arrested recently, and what was found was a stash of evidence linking him to the dark web marketplace, as well a host of illicit images relating to children. 

   Reports state that a seized laptop hosted prevalent evidence that linked him to the website, as well as child pornography , authorities have stated that the illicit images were organized that it seemed like he was going to use them as a base to start another domain, one where illicit images of children would be traded or sold. 

   What authrities had to say about the website itself; it looked similar to the original, and was host to the selling, buying, and trading or class A and B substances. Also, weapons and exploits were also marketed as well. 

   This was all gathered when authorities raided his apartment, the man by the name of Thomas White, took over the presence of the famous marketplace after the operator of the first one was arrested in 2013. All transactions were anonymous, utilizing BTC. 

   It is also not known how much money exactly White made, but its estimated from the cut that he took from each transaction, he made about almost 100 million profit. 


   The man pleaded guilty in a Liverpool court, and faces over five years in prison.
