Facebook, the social media giant that has been taking many headlines by storm, is seeing full growth despite their involvement in the 2016 US elections, and every reported issue since then.
Despite this, Facebook is setting aside funds for the inevitable FTC fine, that is reported to total almost 5 billion USD. Many people are hoping that this will be a wake up call for the company, and for its founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, as the company has quite a lot to make up for, eg; poor handling of user data, miss-management of its platform, and their aforementioned involvement in the US elections.
Many people still remember that Facebook was mainly the reason for the for the creaton of the GDPR, and those same people are hoping that Facebook does not become the reason for further federal documentation.
