A number of companies have been breached and have had loads of sensitive information stolen, and is currently being ransomed. The bulk of the data is overall financial, and totals over 51,000GB of data. The companies that have been targeted are AirBus, Hugo Boss, and Oracle among others.
The case has of course caught the attention of federal authorities, and currently under police investigation. The hackers, who are as of yet unknown, have stated that they will dump all of the data on the 31st of April, but oddly enough there are only 30 days in April, so we shall see how this goes.
