Israeli Cyber-Warfare and Technology outlet, NSO Group is facing a suit by Amnesty International when one of their pieces of licensed malware called Pegasus, when it was found being used on WhatsApp via a zero-day and was utilized to track journalists and rights activists across the world.

This is a big bite to the Cyber-Tech outlet, as its tech and software is meant to be utilized by law enforcement and federal agencies to use against and track criminals and terrorists. NSO Group has stated that its software is meant to do just that, and only that, and that no misuse of its equipment had been proven. NSO also stated that various committees had reviewed customers and usage and that no misuse had been evident.
