Red Security - Snapchat Employees Spying On Users:

Snapchat, another social media giant, has been found to utilize a monitoring tool, called SnapLion, to monitor users accounts. Now this is not odd, as there are other companies who use similar tools in the event that they need to comply with a court order, but some employees at Snapchatwere caught utilizing this same tool to break user privacy and spy on their more "private snaps".

Snapchat has made strong efforts to correct this incident, and has limited who can access the SnapLion tool. They have also stated multiple times that the tool is only for cooperating with law enforcement.
