A laboratory testing lab called LabCorp had 7.7 million patient records stolen, this includes personal and financial data. But LabCorp has reported that no test or lab results were stolen. This incident comes after another Quest Diagnostics suffered a data breach concerning 11.9 million patients.
Given the nature of these breaches, its to the speculation of many that we'll be seeing many more of the same nature, in the coming days.
The identity of the attackers is as of yet, unknown.
