A cryptocurrency platform, KOMODO, has employed clever tactic to ensure the safety of its user's funds, it discovered a backdoor in its mobile wallet, Agama, and quickly emptied all of the wallets, and moved all of the funds to a secure location before the funds could be stolen by malicious actors.
The total number of funds that were safely re-located was almost 13 million. Once the backdoor was shored up, the users were notified and given new wallets for which to place their funds in.
As of now, there is no evidence to suggest that any of the funds had been discovered by malicious actors.
