                                     Israeli based NSO Group, a cyber-security group responsible for the infamous WhatsApp hack in early May, has been singled out for questioning, as the same spyware they developed has evolved to be able to steal loads mods info on a user. 

                 The malware, designated "Pegasus" is able to reach beyond just what its able to steal on the phone, and into the cloud, and steal the entire history of their location data, and archived messages or photos. 

                 NSO Group has maintained that its software is only sold to responsible governments to track terrorists and crime, but there have been reports of the software being used to track human rights activists and journalists around the world. They have also denied in creating any surveillance software for the cloud.
