In a shocking deal between Microsoft and GitHub, the code publishing company is going to be acquired by Microsoft. The deal between the two sectors is valued at 7.5 billion. This comes as a shock to a lot people, developers and students included. A lot of people are not really optimistic about the deal, thinking that Microsoft will ruin GitHub and could ruin plans set forth by future developers.
Only time will tell, how this deal affects the community, whether it be in a positive or a negative manner.
