A British health and beauty store and pharmacy suffered a data breach that affected 20,000 customers. The company has reportedly been warning its customers about a possible leak through third party websites. The customer details included customer names, dates of birth, addresses, contact numbers, and reward point balances; although, payment or card details were still secured.

Superdrug worked closely with its social media accounts to keep their customers informed, but there was an instance where customers trying to access the site to change their credentials had trouble because there were so many visiting the site at the same time. Out of the 20,000 affected customers, 386 actually had their details leaked. Superdrug has informed the proper authorities and agencies.
