In a recent Windows update, Windows 10 1809 brought with it fixes and an old flaw. File Explorer Flaw, which shows mapped network drives as being broken, despite functioning normally.

This bug was reported a month ago, and a little longer since then, and it remains un-patched. They did mention a work-around, and its as follows:

“You can work around this issue by running scripts to automatically reconnect mapped network drive when you log on the device. To do this, create two script files, and then use one of the workarounds, as appropriate.”

Beside the returning flaw, the 1809 update also brought compatibility with Trend Micro's OfficeScan and Worry-Free Business Security software.

Also affected are the Radeon HD2000 and HD4000 series, neither software or the GPUs have a patch available for them yet, so hence fourth, Microsoft has blocked all of them from recieving the 1809 update as a work-around.

That was the news folks, have a good weekend, and stay safe out there.
