If anyone has been paying attention, then you might have heard about the CFO to Huawei was arrested in Canada, allegedly for violating US sanctions in Iran. Recently, Huawei has been under fire by the US for allegations of espionage. The telecom giant has seen their phone banned by the US and their FiveEyes allies; however, the UK, amidst their "fish-out-of-water" approach to cyber threats, has yet to join the FiveEyes in banning the phone.

In light of the arrest and accusations against China and their affiliated company, Huawei, Arne Schoenbohm, who is the head of Germany's Federal Office of Information Security, has disclosed that the US has zero evidence in their accusations against China to back up their banning of the Huawei device.

Despite this, the Huawei CFO is facing extradition to the US, and the Court has asked her to surrender her passport in Canada. And along with the US and its allies, New Zealand, and Japan, have also joined them in banning the phone and availing zero services from the company.

That was the news folks, have a good week, and stay safe out there.
