Facebook is once again in the spotlight, this time on a AWS server, the account information and login details of over 540 million users was found on a misconfigured Amazon Web Service server. This was discovered by security researchers at UpGuard Inc and was revealed on Wednesday. The majority of the data exposure came via a Mexico based media company, Culturea Collectiva and the included Facebook user names, comments, likes, reactions, account names, and other details.

This is once again another issue that was discovered, and this is further cemented by Renaud Deraison, who stated that it "seems like every other week, a security issue is discovered in the Facebook ecosystem."

Its also an issue of Facebook giving access of user data to third party app developers. And that these third party developers are practicing bad security ethics, while in the management of said user data.

This has not been a good several years for the social media giant, and and its only getting worse, with Zuckerberg having stated that Facebook will ramp its efforts to restore its user trust, it seems that the trust is only lessening.

That was the news folks, have a good week, and stay safe out there.
