Amid the mass protests in Hong Kong, as millions flood the streets to protest against a new Extradition bill, and have been met with a harsh response from local law enforcement.

Telegram is an encrypted messaging service, and was just recently hit with a massive DDoS attack. It has been reported that protesters have been using Telegram to coordinate with each other, as well as evade surveillance. According to Telegram on Twitter, the service was taken down by a very sizable Botnet; as of the writing of this article, service has been restored.
