A fast-food-chain called Krystal was hit with a "security incident" that involved payment cards, and has affected around 228 of their restaurants across the southeastern United States. Any restaurants in Louisiana are suspected to have not been affected.

Officials from Krystal had this to say:

       "Our investigation is ongoing,"

"We are still determining specific locations and dates for each restaurant involved in the attack."

No reports have been released as to whether any cards were used in fraud, or if any one person or group has been singled out as the perpetrators behind it. Law Enforcement was notified, and it is reported that the chain has retained a forensics firm.
