An owner of several DDoS stresser services pleaded guilty today, for running said services between August 2015 and November 2017. The man, Sergiy Usatyuk, age 20, of Orland Park, Illinois, ran several stresser services named ExoStress.in, QuezStresser.com, Betabooter.com, Databooter.com, Instabooter.com, Polystress.com, Zstress.net, and Decafstresser. He ran these sites with an unnamed cohort; what we know of his accomplice is that he was Canadian.

According to authorities, he ran these services from 31 heavy servers that he rented from two US based cloud hosting providers. They have also stated that he launched, with his accomplice, 3,829,812 DDoS attacks against multiple companies. Including a major video game manufacturer. A student also used a form of this service to DDoS their school.

Authorities have been cracking down hard on people who are using these services, and purveying them to customers. Going after the owners, users of these services.
