Facebook is warning of a mass utilization of an exploit on the messaging app, WhatsApp. Its reported that the exploit is being used to upload surveillance software. The exploit itself, designated CVE-2019-2568 is a buffer overflow vulnerability focused on its VOIP stack, and could potentially allow for remote code execution.
