It was recently discovered, that a *sophisticated operator* was able to breach into an Australia based university where they were able get away with 19 years worth of student data. Its is unknown as to who was behind this breach, and on top of that, the breach appears to have happened in late 2018, but was only discovered two weeks ago.
Some speculation has arisen that it was Chinese state sponsored actors, but no proof and/or evidence has been put forth as of yet.
