A data breach hits software company Citrix. They were informed by the FBI on the 6th of this month, and from what the investigation has uncovered, the breach was to steal sensitive documents. The security firm that was hired by Citrix states the method used to gain entry, was a technique called "Password Spraying". A method that exploits weak passwords.
Citrix has since taken care of the problem at hand, and hopes that the breach has not negatively affected its customers. At first authorities suspected Chinese state sponsored hacking group as the actors behind this breach, but this has since changed, and they suspect Iran linked hacking groups to be responsible.
